2”x3”x1/8” tube is used a ton in many medium duty applications. It is extremely common to find it in custom car chassis in the automotive industry. In ornamental iron we build heavy gate frames out of it, as well as steel racks, table legs, headache racks, and gusset material for larger tubing on structural jobs when needed
